Embryo Halloween Jello Shots
This Jello Shooter Recipe is for Those of Legal Drinking Age
It all started when I was invited to a Halloween party and was requested to make some of my "famous" jello shooters. I accepted that request and decided to dress them up a bit to fit the evenings theme.
I was going to add gummy worms to the cups but it was so close to Halloween that my small town was sold out of worms. Only gummy bears remained. Hmm? So I had a different idea come to mind.
Although the drink I intended to make didn't turn out exactly as I planned, they turned out even better and were an absolute HIT at the party. The guests officially named these jello shots "Embryo Shooters".

I Wasn't Expecting the Gummy Bears to Melt - Wow That Worked
My first attempt at these shooters I was wanting to incorporate blood (aka grenadine) into the shot, but it didn't turn out like I had thought it would.
Then when I put in the second layer of jello and later at the party saw how the bears had melted just a bit. I was almost startled by how my Halloween shots looked so creepy and eery.
You couldn't quite discern what was in the shooter which added to the mystery. They were exactly what the party mood required!
Once I told the party guests what made the Embryo shape they were amazed. I noticed that it sure didn't take long for the shots to be devoured by all of the ghouls at the party. The gelatin shots were a hit.
Tip: If you use lighter coloured Jello and darker coloured gummy bears you will be able to see the "Embryos" better. It gives your shots a much cooler affect.
