Ingredients and Directions for Bacon Wrapped Chicken Appetizers
You will need:
3 chicken breasts
1 lb bacon
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
2 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
1. First cube your chicken into bite sized pieces, and cut your bacon in thirds.
2. Wrap a piece of bacon around a piece of chicken and put a toothpick through it.
3. Put all of them into a container with a lid and put the spices on top. Then shake it all around to mix in the spices.
4. Place them onto a cookie sheet lined with tin foil (for easy clean up).
5. Bake them in a pre-heated oven at 350 for 30-35 minutes. Cool and enjoy
Allow to cool, serve and enjoy!
Let your chicken appetizers cool for about 5 minutes then remove them from the tinfoil. If you let them sit too long and then try to remove them you could end up with a tin foiled mess on your wonderful appetizer so do be careful. It's kind of a balancing act but I am sure that you will figure it out.
Believe it or not they do taste better at room temperature rather than hot from the oven. Perhaps because the bacon gets even crispier as it sits for those few minutes after cooking.
